"Now you can set the Timeout value of your Captive Portal in just a few clicks".
These timeout settings apply to all access points across all locations for each brand. Each timeout can only have one value per brand.
Timeout Settings (Step by step)
1) On Dashboard Analytics select "Acces Points".
2) Click on "Wi-Fi Timeouts"
3) Go to "Set session timeout minutes"
The Session Timeout defines the duration for which a users session remains active after it begins. Once the specified time elapses, the session will automatically end, ensuring security and resource management.
4) Set Idle Timeout (minutes).- The idle timeout sets the period of inactivity after which the session will automatically close. This helps to protect user accounts and conserve network resources by terminating sessions that are no longer in use. Some Access Points don't support the idle timeout setting and will use their default value.
5) Activate or deactivate timeouts.- When timeouts are deactivated, the system will revert to the Access Point's default timeout settings. Your custom settings will be saved and automatically re-applied when you reactivate the timeouts.
